Progressives need for increased storage and better utilisation of space required the Fire Systems in this 33,000 sq m warehouse to be totally re-engineered, extended and upgraded to provide compliance with the latest NZ Standards.

In conjunction with the Fire Engineer Aecom Australia, a total of 8000 in racks sprinklers were installed to a new racking system, together with upgrading of roof level sprinkler protection, new analogue manual fire alarm system, Vesda and Pre Action Sprinkler System to the computer suite.

This project was pre-manufactured in Fire Solutions fabrication facility, which entail some 30 km of 40 and 50mm diameter piping.
