Yashili Milk Processing Facility Pokeno

Fire Solutions was engaged as the turnkey Fire Protection contractor on this greenfields site, due to its vast experience in the provision of design and build packages for Milk processing facilities. The project consisting of a nine level drier tower, 23,000 sq m dry store, utilities building, administration block and dual diesel driven fire water pumps.

Fire Solutions were the lead and only Fire Systems Contractor on Yashili’s new site south of Auckland.

While the scope of services to each building varied, the design and build contracts consisted of Fire Sprinklers both conventional and dry pipe pre-action, ESFR Sprinkler Protection, Addressable Fire Alarms with supplementary smoke detection and Very Early Warning Smoke Detection (Vesda), Fire Hose Reels and Fire Extinguishers together with fire pumps to erve this large industrial site.

All of the above being carried out by our in-house design, project management, construction/installation and commissioning teams.
